BIM Technician

This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM Technician at RiDh Engineering, located in Chennai. The BIM Technician will be responsible for creating and maintaining BIM models, collaborating with the design team, coordinating with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) services, preparing construction drawings, and assisting with structural engineering tasks. The BIM Technician will work closely with project stakeholders and contribute to the overall success of the projects.

• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and knowledge of industry standards
• Experience with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination in BIM
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and building services
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and project stakeholders
• Proficiency in software tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Experience in rebar detailing and reinforcement modeling is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
