The Team

Our team, “Cybersecurity and Functional safety in Bangalore” is in the heart of a great transformation. We work with developing and improving our product cybersecurity management system (PCSMS) in a continues manner along with releasing cybersecurity infrastructure requirements (also called CS System Specification), supporting teams to do Threat and Risk Analysis (TARA), and conduct vehicle TARA and vehicle CS case to facilitate release of work products according to state of the arts such as ISO/SEA 21434 and UNECE 155. Our mission is to develop and maintain our product cybersecurity management system ‘s instructions, provide cybersecurity baseline (CS concept proposal) and release needed Cybersecurity infrastructure requirements to provide on the shelf cybersecurity measures on conceptual level. We are also coordinating the CS work across the whole organization at Group Truck Technology (GTT). Our team gives the opportunity to dig into a great diversity of work areas within automotive cybersecurity.We are therefore looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Design Engineer who will support us with SW development related to cybersecurity concepts and its integration on embedded software platform which includes Volvo Autosar Platform (VAP), Linux, and Volvo Dynamic Software Platform (VDSP) based on Adaptative Autosar and Hypervisor technologies. The work is done in very close collaboration with our different suppliers and various development/architecture teams at Volvo. The work may include integration of these platforms in different ECUs and software development of platform features. This position offers variation in challenges and assignments and requires an open mind to new technologies and concepts

Who are we ?

We are responsible for the complete life cycle, from strategy to maintenance of the on-board CS Solutions ( e.g., IDS, PKI) which also implies that the group explores/uses both latest technology and tools as well as matured technology and tools. We have the product and technical ownership of the on-board CS solution delivered by the team as system specification also coordination of the work between different stakeholders including implementation and integration in BSW platform.Our current products are: Volvo Autosar Platform and Volvo Dynamic Software Platform (VDSP) based on Adaptive Autosar, Linux, Hypervisor and QNX Neutrino OS technologies

Who are you ?

A person passionate about embedded software and Cybersecurity onboard solutions.• Experience of working in Linux and preferably knowledge of Yocto for Embedded Linux• You have very good programming skills in C and/or C++ in embedded environment and "hands-on" experience working with complex embedded software solution/design• Interested in automation, CI and CD• Experience with working in close collaboration with suppliers• Service mindset to provide a good SW platform to the user of it• Capable to analyze and apply knowledge on not fully given frames. The product and procedures are given; however, the work requires experience and the capacity to perform analysis and draw conclusions from thousands of puzzle pieces in complex embedded system solution• Eager to take operational responsibility in the day-to-day work and not hesitating to collaborate to get things done

Required qualifications

Good education in Software Engineering, Computer engineering, Electrical engineering or equivalentExperience of working with real-time embedded systemsGood experience with CI environment, GIT, Artifactory, JenkinsExperience in agile developmentExperience with Hypervisor/Adaptive AUTOSAR/Embedded Linux Kernel is a big advantage.Previous experience as a system design engineerExperience in software development or embedded system developmentExperience in Verification and Validation
