Job Overview
Support Enterprise Compliance Office staff through independent research and collation of information.
Essential Functions:
• Independently research, compile data, compose and deliver both routine and non-routine correspondence, reports and presentations for review and final revision by manager.
• Identify and escalate serious or sensitive issues to Compliance leadership in a time sensitive manner.
• Maintain databases and metrics to measure effectiveness of compliance programs.
• Manage, in consultation with senior staff, Compliance Training Enforcement Guidelines to ensure compliance with company policies and training requirements.
• Undertake projects, research data and make special studies, requiring independent decisions and conclusions.
• When manager is unavailable, use initiative to review and prioritize activities, taking action or escalating critical matters as appropriate.
• Serve as an information source for department, answering questions, making referrals as required and conducting required research.
• Assist in the development and design of improved procedures to promote the timely processing and submission of all deliverables.
• Develop and maintain network of in-country reviewers for translation of Compliance training materials into local language.
• Develop and implement an efficient work flow and information tracking/retrieval system across all assigned projects, and maintain/archives files and records.
• May provide support and guidance to new or more junior members of staff.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree Req
• 2 years of related experience Req Or
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage assigned projects, manage time efficiently and work independently.
• Demonstrate a current working knowledge of various rules, regulations and industry guidance that impact company activities.
• Ability to exercise judgment within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Ability to work within well defined guidelines and procedures and recognize when and to who issues should be escalated.
• Ability to prioritize own workloads to meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
