Position Title: Senior Manager IT
Reports To: VP - IT
Location: Pune
Work from Office
Experience Required - 13+Years
Job Purpose
Responsible for providing input and ensuring implementation of the organizational IT department to achieve its current and future business objectives. The incumbent will also provide applicable spectrum of IT as required. Hands on experience of Desktop and Networking Preferred.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL/ FUNCTIONAL:
Knowledge of PC, network hardware and software.
Excellent organizational skills.
Written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, with minimal supervision.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Ability to seek proactive solutions to difficult situations.
Ability to remain calm under deadlines.
VMware experience is a Plus. Effects software (Nuke, Silhouette, and Photoshop) experience is a plus.
Design and Implementation of Mail / Web/ FTP Server.
Windows and Linux Server Administration.
Maintenance of the intranet and troubleshooting/Helpdesk for any hardware/software related queries or problems.
Writing Scripts for process automation
OPERATIONAL:
Assisting in preparation of budgets for all hardware and software requirements of the organization
Supervising purchase of hardware/software equipment, Liaoning with the suppliers and signing the Annual Maintenance contracts. Assisting in Vendor Management
Keeping abreast of all latest animation hardware/software developments, availability, and applicability. Updating and maintenance of all hardware/software in the organization so that the organization remains on the cutting edge of technology. Conducting research on latest technologies related to the field and provide help in the development of a technology roadmap in line with the business strategy and market trends.
Assisting in the development, implementation and review of IT operational processes and procedures as well as the Information Security policy / E policy for the organization
Development of customized software or implementation of third part solutions to meet the in-house requirements of the organization e.g. the project details and resource planning software.

Data Management, storage& retrieval – facilitating a knowledge management system wherein all the work that has been done is documented and stored in a systematic & user-friendly manner for easy retrieval and access whenever required. Managing Primary and secondary Backup systems
Ensuring confidentiality and safety of data
Designing and later supervising authorization and access to data (based on permitted and sanctioned access levels (employee grades and levels)
Training subordinates for new technologies related to the filed, which can aid individual and Organization growth.
Implementing, Managing and Monitoring trouble shoot server monitoring systems.
Designing and implementing a flawless network infrastructure
Managing the team which includes shift Management and system Task Distribution
Conducting meetings with subordinates on weekly bases or as needed for their better performance and ongoing activities.
Information Communication
Creating Technical Documentation/ Presentation after thorough study
Creating and submitting MIS
Crisis Management
Design File and Machine level security to secure data against theft or deletion Using DLP. Design Machine and File Level Securities.
INTERPERSONAL:
Encourage and ensure the team maintains a positive morale for optimal productivity.
Have the ability to influence and coach others by communicating effectively and promoting a positive team environment.
