INTRODUCTION


The Transaction Manager (TM) role will be responsible for a key account, managing the client’s real estate portfolio in India and the overall relationship. The resource will be dedicated to the client’s RE function and will be based in the client’s office in Mumbai.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSBILITIES


The Resource will be part of a larger team and will be one of the primary points of contact for the client. Key responsibilities include,

  • Drives transaction projects of varied nature that may involve lease renewal, relocation, consolidation, disposition, purchase etc. and ensures successful closeout
  • Coordinates with local teams on ground for client transaction delivery which includes securing information on market, deal comparables, RFP, portoflio bechmarking, business case studies etc.
  • Reviewing lease documents such as LOI, MOU, lease agreement, sale deed, lease surrender and termination letter etc. and working with the client and developer legal teams
  • Participates in weekly/monthly review meetings and calls with the client’s steering committee, internal and external stakeholders and being accountable all key deliverables
  • Develops healthy relationship with all client divisions; involving but not limited to Business leadership, CRE, Legal, Finance, Project and Facilities Management, Audit, Admin etc.
  • Provides support to the client in preparing Annual Operation Plan / Real Estate Budgeting Plan
  • Ensures adherence to all Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) intrinsic to the client and maintains highest standards of ethics and compliance


KEY SKILLS


  • Manages stakeholder expectations through the lifecycle from strategy formulation to execution
  • Strong RE transaction knowledge, well versed in RE documentation, lease structuring process
  • Sincere with work commitments, thorough attention to detail/deliverables
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
  • As an extension of the client’s team, the resource should protect client’s interest at all fronts



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Postgraduate, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Experience in Transaction and Account Management (Preferred)
  • Above 3+ years of real estate work experience
