Job Summary:
The Admission Head is responsible for overseeing the admissions department, creating and executing strategies to meet enrollment targets, and ensuring a seamless admissions process. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the education industry. The Admission Head will manage a team of counselors, analyze market trends, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:

  2. Develop and implement admissions strategies for MBA & PGDM courses to achieve enrollment targets for the institution.

  3. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
  4. Set short-term and long-term enrollment goals in alignment with the institutions objectives.

  5. Team Leadership:

  6. Manage and mentor the admissions team, including counselors and coordinators.

  7. Provide training and development to enhance team performance.
  8. Monitor team performance and ensure accountability for individual and team targets.

  9. Admissions Process Management:

  10. Oversee the entire admissions process for MBA & PGDM courses, ensuring efficiency and a positive experience for applicants.

  11. Review and refine admission policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  12. Monitor and manage the admissions pipeline using CRM tools and databases.

  13. Collaboration and Communication:

  14. Work closely with the marketing team to design campaigns that attract prospective students.

  15. Collaborate with academic departments to align admissions criteria with program offerings.
  16. Build strong relationships with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions.

  17. Events and Outreach:

  18. Represent the institution at education fairs, seminars, webinars, and open house events.

  19. Organize campus tours, information sessions, and other promotional events.
  20. Develop partnerships with educational consultants, agencies, and alumni networks.

  21. Reporting and Analysis:

  22. Analyze admissions data to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  23. Prepare regular reports on admissions activities, challenges, and achievements for senior management.
  24. Provide insights to improve admissions strategies and operations.

  25. Compliance and Standards:

  26. Ensure that the admissions process complies with institutional policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  27. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling applicant data.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in admissions or education management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding enrollment targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
