Telecom tester

We are looking for a skilled Telecom Tester (OSS/BSS) with strong experience in manual testing across Telecom domains. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in CRM, Billing, Order Management, Provisioning, Inventory, and other related systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of telecom applications through structured testing practices. ????️ Roles & Responsibilities Perform end-to-end manual testing to ensure the quality and reliability of telecom applications. Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements. Utilize automated test scripts for Functional & Regression testing. Conduct weekly regression testing across environments and present test results to stakeholders. Identify, log, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring clear documentation. Collaborate with development, design, and environment support teams for requirement clarity and defect resolution. Participate in defect triage and troubleshooting calls , assigning issues to the appropriate teams. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for telecom applications. Prepare and publish test execution status reports and closure reports . Support in creating test data and tools required for testing activities. Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in telecom testing. Develop additional regression test cases and automate them using relevant automation tools. ???? Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field. Minimum 5 years of Telecom domain manual testing experience . ???? Technical Skills Strong working knowledge of Telecom OSS/BSS systems including CRM, Billing, Order Management, Provisioning, Inventory, etc. Proficiency in SQL and basic UNIX commands . Experience with systems such as Single View, Maple Wave, Siebel CRM, BRM, Ericsson Order Management, Service Now, Nokia Flow One , or similar. Hands-on experience with JIRA or other defect tracking/test management tools. Strong understanding of telecom testing methodologies and best practices. Experience with automation tools like Selenium or Leap Work (added advantage). Familiarity with Agile development methodology. Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Self-driven with strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.
