Role: Tools Developer, BMC Developer - Automation
Job Location: Greater Noida
Exp: 5-10 yrs
Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Tools Developer with expertise in BMC software and automation tools to join our growing development team. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining automated solutions to improve IT efficiency and streamline operations. You will work closely with the development team, operations team, and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and create robust, user-friendly tools using the BMC Development Studio and other relevant automation platforms.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated solutions using BMC Development Studio and scripting languages (like Python, Bash) to automate IT processes across various areas (e.g., provisioning, configuration management, patching, reporting)
Integrate BMC tools (e.g., BMC Remedy, BMC BladeLogic) with other IT systems and applications through APIs and web services
Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for automated tools
Collaborate with the operations team and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and ensure solutions meet their needs
Test and debug automated solutions to ensure functionality and reliability
Document automation processes and code for future maintenance and support
Stay up-to-date on the latest BMC tools, automation technologies, and best practices
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software development
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
Proven experience using BMC Development Studio or similar development tools
Understanding of IT automation principles and methodologies (e.g., DevOps, Agile)
Experience with API integration and web services
Excellent problem-solving?and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with BMC Remedy, BMC BladeLogic, or other BMC software products
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) (a plus)
