As a Senior Azure Data Analyst, you will:
  • Design and implement highly performant, scalable, and reusable data ingestion and transformation pipelines across various Azure components and services.
  • Utilize Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Data Factory to develop integrations for large, complex software systems.
  • Develop and maintain a data warehouse on Azure utilizing services such as Azure HDInsight, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, SQL Server, SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Analytics Service, Event Hubs, and KeyVault.
  • Design and implement event-based and streaming data ingestion and processing solutions using Azure PaaS services.
  • Work on data engineering and data curation projects using native Azure services or tools available in the Azure Marketplace.
  • Implement data governance, cataloging, and lineage solutions using Azure Data Catalog or Informatica Data Catalog.
  • Develop physical data models in MongoDB, SQL Data Warehouse, and other databases.
  • Create APIs and contribute to agile delivery teams with a focus on DevOps methodologies for continuous iterative deployments.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 8-10 years of experience in data analysis, engineering, or a related field, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong experience in using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Data Factory for data processing and integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services for data warehousing, ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
  • Experience in designing and implementing data governance, cataloging, and lineage with Azure Data Catalog or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in developing physical data models in MongoDB, SQL Data Warehouse, and other data storage technologies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Git Repositories, and Confluence.
  • Proven track record in data migration activities, including strategy development, system analysis, mapping, development, and reconciliation.
