Position:  Field Service Engineer - Dynamic Positioning Qualification:  - Bachelor’s degree / Engineering in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Experience:- 0-3 Years of experience in Services of Marine Dynamic Positioning Systems (Freshers with Marine Engineering qualification can apply) Location:-  Mahape, Navi Mumbai Department:-  Projects Reports To: - Line Manager Job Description:- 2+ years or relevant experience in the Maritime industry with a good track record. Experience in Marine Automation, control systems and Navigation control systems Knowledge and understanding of marine automation systems and Dynamic Positioning System is a key advantage. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing automation systems, programming language (C / C++) Previous experience in a similar role or internship in marine automation. Knowledge of and experience with company's products is an advantage Familiarity with international maritime standards and regulations (preferred). Skills:- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Overall focus and awareness on quality. Good communication skills with excellent verbal and written English Self-driven & focused person Sound knowledge in systems software and computers (preferred). Travel:-   Ready to travel globally on short notice with valid documents, working on-site extensively as needed.  Roles & Responsibilities:- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Dynamic Positioning Systems. Perform troubleshooting and repair of automation systems on vessels and offshore platforms. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability. Provide technical support and training to clients and crew members. Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to resolve technical issues. Document service activities and prepare detailed reports. Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in marine automation. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during all service activities. Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements. Utilizing the escalation process to resolve customer service delivery issues. Identifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals, and system sales.
