The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Technical Lead to take ownership of the technical aspects of Master Data Governance (MDG) implementation for MDG-S (Supplier).

Key Responsibilities:

  • MDG-S work Package Ownership : Lead the technical aspects of MDG-S work packages, ensuring that all technical tasks are delivered on time and meet the defined business and functional requirements
  • Technical Delivery: Take responsibility for the design, configuration, and implementation of MDG solutions. Oversee the delivery of high-quality solutions, ensuring that they adhere to best practices and standards
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, project managers, and other technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of MDG-S implementation projects
  • Technical Leadership: Act as the technical expert for MDG, guiding and mentoring team members, providing leadership in solving complex technical problems, and ensuring quality and efficiency in all development activities
  • MDG Configuration and Customization: Perform hands-on configuration and customization of MDG components, including but not limited to Supplier Master Data, Data Models, UI Configuration, and Workflow Configuration
  • System Integration: Oversee the integration of MDG with other systems (SAP, non-SAP, etc.), ensuring seamless data flow and adherence to data governance policies
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, support system testing, and resolve issues that arise during development and implementation.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, integration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest developments in MDG technologies and practices and proactively suggest improvements to enhance the effectiveness and performance of MDG implementations.

Profile Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in implementing and managing MDG (Master Data Governance), with a strong focus on MDG-S (Supplier) solutions
  • Experience in MDG with Integration and Interface expertise
  • Should have worked on IDOCs, Webservice, ODATA REST APIs
  • Should have worked exp on integration in MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Experience with CPI is good to have
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the technical aspects of SAP MDG, including data modeling, governance workflows, and UI/UX design
  • Proven track record of leading technical delivery on large-scale MDG projects, from initial design through to go-live and support.
  • Experience in integrating MDG with other systems such as SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party applications
  • Relevant functional, technical and leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Our office locations are Pune and Bengaluru. This role is open for both locations
