Our mission is to create a more sustainable future through our innovative technology.Job Summary:We're seeking an experienced and influential Senior Global Commodity Manager to lead our EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) sourcing efforts. This critical role requires a strong, strategic thinker who can effectively communicate and negotiate at the leadership level of EMS companies. If you're a seasoned professional with excellent negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the EMS industry, and the ability to build strong relationships with senior-level executives, we'd love to hear from youKey Responsibilities:- Develop and manage EMS vendors for Bloom Energy's electronic commodity, including price management, T2 Off the Shelf parts vendor management, and supplier performance.- Own sourcing strategy and supplier relationship management function, performing market analysis and forecasting industry trends.- Define cost structures and develop should-cost models to drive cost savings.- Support product development roadmap, incorporating design changes and implementation to current and future product lines.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, understand, and prioritize business needs.- Communicate and negotiate with senior-level executives at EMS companies to drive strategic partnerships and achieve business objectives.Requirements:- 12+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on EMS.- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.- 3-4 years of experience in program management role in EMS is preferred.- Technical knowledge of EMS processes like PCBA, Box build, etc. is preferred.- Strong negotiation skills, with ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data.- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate at the leadership level of EMS companies.Nice to Have:- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.What We Offer:Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work with a innovative company that's changing the energy landscape.If you're a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the EMS industry, and the ability to build strong relationships with senior-level executives, please submit your application today
