We are looking for a well-presented and passionate AWS Cloud Trainer to join e-Careers.
With the demand for skilled cloud professionals growing in the UK and around the world, e-Careers has recently launched a groundbreaking program that offers career starters and career changers the opportunity to gain knowledge, skills, and guaranteed work experience through our extensive network of employers.
This role is focused on empowering both career starters and those looking to transition into the field by equipping them with the essential elements necessary to break into the industry:
-         Knowledge
-         Skills
-         Work experience through our network of employers.
As a key member of our team and the central subject matter expert, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering the program's curriculum.
By leveraging official AWS content and collaborating with our product team and coaches, you will develop engaging course materials and deliver compelling training sessions, ensuring a valuable and effective learning experience for all participants.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced AWS professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the futures of aspiring cloud experts.
Responsibilities:
1) Training Delivery
Conduct interactive, virtual training sessions to cohorts of individuals who are predominantly based in the UK. These individuals are unlikely to have prior experience in cloud methodologies.
Teach AWS concepts, services, and best practices.
Utilise AWS official training materials to create an effective learning experience.
Facilitate hands-on labs and real-world scenarios to reinforce learning.
Continuously improve training and labs content and delivery to based on feedback.
2) Content Creation
Work with the e-Careers product team to create an engaging and exciting learning programme (content as well as learning journey).
Collaborate with coaches, the customer experience team and our employers to continuously improve content to ensure effectiveness.
Create practical examples and case studies relevant to real-world scenarios.
3) Coaching and Mentoring
Work closely with coaches who will provide mentoring and learning support to candidates to ensure the programme's effectiveness and reinforce the training you deliver.
Support coaches in enhancing candidates’ knowledge through additional labs, exercises, and personalised guidance.
Build a supportive learning environment by addressing individual needs and challenges.
4) Exam Preparation
Work with coaches to ensure effective exam preparation sessions, focusing on AWS certification paths and employer expectations.
Provide guidance on study strategies, practice exams, and exam-taking techniques.
5) Marketing
Deliver scheduled promotional webinars to prospective candidates, explaining the features and benefits of the programme.
Work with marketing team to create any marketing content that requires the input of a subject matter expert.
6) Virtual Training Schedule
The training will be conducted virtually to suit UK hours.
Be flexible to accommodate evening and weekend sessions as needed.
Qualifications and experience:
Hold an  AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional  and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional as a minimum.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with AWS services.
Proven track record of delivering effective technical training in a virtual and face-to-face environment.
Familiarity with sectors such as IT, software development and infrastructure.
Knowledge and experience in other cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud is preferred.
Practical experience implementing AWS solutions.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
Attributes required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English .
Ability to transfer knowledge and technical concepts in a virtual environment.
Ability to tailor content for diverse audiences.
Enthusiasm for cloud technology and a desire to empower others .
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
Flexible to work to UK time zones, including the potential need to deliver training in the UK evenings and weekends.
