Social Media & Digital Content Specialist


BayOne is seeking a dynamic Social Media and Digital Content Specialist with strong written and visual communication skills. This marketing role will report to and work closely with the US-based Marketing Director. This role involves coordination with global HR, US-based sales teams, and an India-based marketing agency. The specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day social media activities, executing paid media campaigns, and contributing to internal branding communications. This hybrid role is based in Gurugram, India.


Job Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy:

•Co-develop the social media marketing strategy with the Marketing Director (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X/Twitter, and Facebook).

•Ensure a consistent brand voice across all communication channels.

•Monitor social media channels to identify and act on industry trends.

•Uphold and enforce brand and style guidelines across all content.

Day-to-Day Social Media Management:

•Execute a results-driven social media strategy.

•Develop engaging social content for BayOne’s multiple audiences.

•Schedule social media posts.

•Engage with BayOne’s online community by responding to messages and comments.

•Monitor analytics and regularly report on key metrics.


Paid Media:

•Plan and execute occasional digital marketing ad campaigns on LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google.


Blog & Video Production :

•Manage the marketing agency’s production timeline for monthly blog posts.

•Provide direction on blog topics and focus areas.

•Publish blogs via the WYSIWYG editor on the backend of WordPress website.

•Oversee the marketing agency’s video editing projects, providing direction on video content, titles, and thumbnails.

•Write YouTube descriptions for videos.

•Optimize YouTube SEO for videos.


Internal Communications:

•Conduct occasional training sessions and provide ad-hoc guidance to internal staff on social media best practices.

•Support HR with branding needs, including content related to awards and office events.



Qualifications / Skills:

•Passion for social media, proficiency with major social media platforms, and familiarity with social media management tools like Buffer

•Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment

•Strong social listening skills, with the ability to identify and analyze trends in digital content

•Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail

•Strong project management skills, particularly in coordinating with external teams such as marketing agencies

•Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

•Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

•Proficiency with photo editing tools, digital media formats, HTML, and content management systems

•Graphic design experience with platforms like Canva is a plus but not required.

•B2B paid media experience is a plus but not required.

•Video/YouTube experience is preferred.


Education and Experience Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree. Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred.

•2-4 years’ experience with social media marketing or content development
