Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-timeRegionalSales Manager OTC for UP who will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that position our over-the-counter products effectively in the market. The position is located in Lucknow and involves on-site work. The day-to-day tasks of this role include conducting market research, tracking trends, analyzing consumer data, identifying new market opportunities, and liaising with cross-functional teams to drive growth.The location of the job will be in Lucknow and will require handling both Pharmacies, Retail shops, beauty stores , General Trade & Modern TradeCandidates from FMCG or companies catering to beauty industry will be given advantage, candidates from DABUR, HIMALAYA, Galderma, LOREAL, UNILEVER & P&G are preferred..
Job Responsibilities:
Faster execution of channel expansion, adding POS at a faster pace.Develop Sales strategy and budgets to achieve and exceed the annual sales objective for the regionMonitor and control the sales budgets to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the regionDevise Brand: SKU and channel wise sales and distribution strategy to achieve sales objectivesMonitor the capability and the quality of the distributor in the region. Enhance the distribution strengthDrive manpower and capability development plans for both direct and indirect sales forceConduct regular market visits to understand and assess the market execution; competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities to increase the salesImplement trade promotions and ensure rigorous tracking and evaluation of trade spendingEnsure regular performance reviews and drive a high-performance cultureRecruiting, managing, and motivating the sales teamPlanning with the team to execute channel expansion and new town expansionMonitoring merchandising standards, planogram, and product visibility in the market with dominance as per company normsForecasting of monthly and quarterly sales of all major brands and SKUs to plan and execute optimum result
Key Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field10+ years of relevant experience in consumer product marketing, particularly for OTC productsStrong understanding of market research and consumer behavior trendsExcellent analytical and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to translate data and insights into strategy and execution plansTravel will be need based
