job summary:the security officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. this role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, responding to incidents, and enforcing safety regulations. the officer acts as the first line of defense against potential security threats and ensures that company policies are consistently followed to protect people and assets.key responsibilities: 1. surveillance and monitoringoperate and monitor security systems, including cctv cameras, alarms, and access control devices.conduct regular patrols of the premises (internal and external) to ensure safety and detect any irregularities.observe and report suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or security breaches. 2. access controlverify and authorize entry of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.issue visitor passes and maintain accurate entry/exit records.ensure all personnel adhere to identification and access policies. 3. incident response and reportingrespond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents such as fire, theft, vandalism, or accidents.assist in evacuations during emergencies, following established procedures.prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and handover notes. 4. safety and emergency proceduresensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.conduct safety checks of fire extinguishers, exits, and emergency lighting.participate in fire drills, evacuation exercises, and emergency response training. 5. public relations and customer serviceprovide directions and assistance to visitors and staff courteously.maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.act as a liaison between management and local law enforcement when required. 6. administrative dutiesmaintain security registers, key logs, and equipment checklists.report maintenance issues related to security systems or infrastructure.support the security supervisor in audits and compliance reviews.qualifications and requirements:minimum educational qualification: 10th/12th pass or equivalent (graduate preferred).prior experience (06 years) in security or law enforcement preferred.valid psara license (private security agencies regulation act) required as per law in india.knowledge of cctv operation, access control systems, and emergency protocols.basic computer literacy (for reporting and email communication).physically fit, alert, and able to work flexible shifts (day/night/rotational).key skills:observation and attention to detailcommunication and interpersonal skillsproblem-solving and conflict resolutionintegrity, discipline, and professionalismteamwork and reliabilitywork environment:indoor and outdoor settings (corporate offices, factories, residential complexes, or institutions)requires standing or patrolling for long hoursexposure to weather conditions and shift work (including weekends and holidays)performance indicators:timeliness and accuracy of reportsreduction in security incidentscompliance with procedures and standardsprofessional conduct and reliabilityExperience 0 - 6 Years No. of Openings 27 Education 12th Pass, B.A, B.C.A, B.B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech, Any Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Any Master Degree Role Security Officer Industry Type Aviation / Airline / Aerospace Gender ( Male / Female ) Job Country India Type of Job Full Time Work Location Type Work from Office Face interview location Mumbai
