The candidate will be responsible for driving cross-functional coordination, ensuring timely execution, managing vendors, and delivering market-ready products that meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-speed D2C environment, understands end-to-end product development cycles, and can orchestrate stakeholders from R&D to packaging, supply chain, QC, marketing, and finance.Key Responsibilities 1. Project & Timeline Management Own the complete NPD (New Product Development) timeline – from concept to launch. Create and manage detailed project plans, with defined milestones, risk assessments, and contingency actions. Ensure timely approvals, documentation, and cross-functional alignment. 2. Cross-Functional Coordination Lead coordination between R&D, packaging, design, marketing, procurement, supply chain, QC, and finance teams. Conduct weekly project review meetings and share status updates with leadership. Escalate bottlenecks proactively and drive fast resolutions. 3. Vendor & Partner Management Coordinate with formulators, packaging suppliers, and other third-party manufacturers. Ensure vendors meet commitments on timelines, MOQs, compliance, and quality. 4. Documentation & Compliance Oversee creation and approval of artworks, BOMs, COAs, MSDS, regulatory documents, and trial reports. Ensure complete readiness for QA, QC, and regulatory requirements before production. 5. Production & Launch Execution Drive pilot batches, stability studies, and pre-production runs. Ensure seamless handover to supply chain for mass production. Partner with marketing to ensure readiness for GTM assets, listings, and launch campaigns. 6. Cost, Quality & Efficiency Management Track project costs and ensure products are developed within target COGS. Optimize processes to improve speed-to-market and reduce rework.Key Skills Required Strong project management and multi-stakeholder coordination skills Knowledge of NPD cycles in beauty, personal care, or FMCG Understanding of formulation basics, packaging development, and supply chain workflows Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills Strong documentation, tracking, and follow-up discipline Proficiency in Excel, Sheets, and project management tools (Asana, Monday, or similar)Ideal Candidate Profile Education Bachelor’s degreein: Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Production preferred), OR B.Pharm / M.Pharm, OR B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Tech, Cosmetic Tech, Biotechnology MBA (Operations/Marketing/Supply Chain) is an added advantage.Experience 2–5 yearsexperience in: D2C brands (Beauty, Personal Care, FMCG) NPD / Project Management / Operations / Supply Chain roles Exposure to vendor management & cross-functional coordination is a big plus.Soft Traits High ownership mindset Sharp follow-through and execution discipline Ability to work under tight timelines Fast learner with a hustler attitude Strong stakeholder management capabilities
