Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
  • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Work with Terraform/CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Manage and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM roles, policies, and VPC configurations.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment-related issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in AWS DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Good understanding of Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash/Python).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Load Balancers, NAT).
  • Knowledge of version control using Git/GitHub/GitLab.

Good To Have

  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Knowledge of AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate concepts.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
