Hiring for iOS Developer

Location: Hyderabad (WFO Only)

Total IT Experience: 4 years to 5 years

We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer with 4-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As an iOS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge iOS applications. You will collaborate closely with our product development team to deliver high-quality, user-friendly mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  3. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  4. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  5. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  6. Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mobile development.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 4-5 years of proven software development experience in iOS development.
  3. Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI, with a solid understanding of the iOS ecosystem.
  4. Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including architecture, design, and performance optimization.
  5. Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  6. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications (e.g., Firebase, APNs).
  7. Knowledge of code versioning tools, particularly Git, and familiarity with branching strategies.
  8. Experience with performance and memory tuning tools (e.g., Instruments) to ensure smooth app performance.
  9. Strong understanding of design principles and patterns like MVC, MVVM as well as SOLID principles.
  10. Experience writing Unit Tests and UI Tests using frameworks such as XCTest and XCUITest to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  11. Experience with integration tests and automated testing strategies to ensure seamless connectivity between app layers and backend services.
  12. Strong grasp of security best practices in iOS development, such as secure data storage, encryption, and safe networking.
  13. Familiarity with dependency management tools like CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager.
  14. Experience with accessibility best practices to ensure a better user experience for all users.
  15. Strong debugging and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
  16. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to find innovative solutions.
  17. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  18. Understanding of App Store guidelines and experience with app submission and release process.
