Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage Azure-based DevOps solutions, with a strong focus on automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and continuous delivery. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Azure services, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools to optimize development and deployment workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. DevOps Pipeline Development and Management:
  • Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Automate code deployment, testing, and release processes across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts, and build/release workflows.
  1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform:
  • Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Implement reusable Terraform modules for deploying Azure resources efficiently.
  • Maintain and improve IaC practices for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  1. Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Optimize build and release processes for faster and more reliable deployments.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues in DevOps pipelines and deployed applications.
  1. Automation and Scripting:
  • Write scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate repetitive operational tasks.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure robust and reliable code deployments.
  1. Security and Compliance:
  • Integrate security checks, vulnerability scans, and compliance validation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Enforce role-based access controls (RBAC) and Azure Policies for secure and compliant operations.
  1. Collaboration and Documentation:
  • Work closely with developers, architects, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices.
  • Document workflows, best practices, and infrastructure configurations for team knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps services (pipelines, repos, artifacts).
  • Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code in Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Virtual Machines, and App Services.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD principles, version control systems (e.g., Git), and build automation tools.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including integrating DevSecOps principles.
