Job Description :


We are seeking an experienced ABAP Cloud Developer with a strong background in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ECC Netweaver 7.5 ABAP, and integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP), Fiori/UI5 development, SBPA workflows, BTP Events Mesh, and integration solutions within the BTP environment.


You will also be responsible for performance analysis and optimization in both BTP ABAP Cloud and on-premise ECC Netweaver environments.

Key Responsibilities :

1. ABAP Cloud Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications in the BTP ABAP environment.

- Implement ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP) models for building scalable cloud applications.

- Optimize ABAP code for performance in both cloud and on-premise environments.

2. Fiori/UI5 Development :

- Develop and deploy Fiori/UI5 applications using BTP Cloud Portal Service.

- Ensure seamless integration and user experience across different SAP modules.

3. BTP SBPA Workflow :

- Design and implement SBPA workflows on BTP, ensuring streamlined business processes.

- Monitor and troubleshoot workflow issues in the BTP environment.

4. BTP Events Mesh :

- Utilize BTP Events Mesh to enable event-driven architecture within the BTP environment.

- Collaborate with other developers and teams to implement event-driven solutions.

5. ECC Netweaver 7.5 ABAP Development :

- Support and enhance backend functionalities in ECC Netweaver 7.5.

- Perform code reviews and optimizations to improve system performance.

6. Integration Experience :

- Design and implement integration solutions within the BTP environment.

- Work with BTP Integration Suite or other integration tools to connect various SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Ensure data consistency and smooth data flow across integrated systems.

7. Performance Analysis and Optimization :

- Conduct performance tuning and optimization for both BTP ABAP Cloud and ECC Netweaver 7.5.

- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience :

1. ABAP Cloud & BTP Expertise :

- Experience with ABAP development in BTP Cloud.

- Hands-on experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP).

- Proficiency in Fiori/UI5 development using BTP Cloud Portal Service.

2. BTP Workflow & Events Mesh :

- Strong understanding of SBPA Workflow design and implementation in BTP.

- Experience with BTP Events Mesh for event-driven application architecture.

3. ECC Netweaver 7.5 ABAP :

- Solid experience with ECC Netweaver 7.5 ABAP development and optimization.

- Familiarity with performance tuning in an on-premise environment.

4. Integration Experience :

- Proven experience in designing and implementing integration solutions in BTP.

- Experience with BTP Integration Suite or other integration tools.

- Strong understanding of SAP and non-SAP system integration.

5. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills :

- Ability to conduct in-depth performance analysis and optimization.

- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in both cloud and on-premise systems.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP certification in ABAP Cloud or related BTP modules.

- Experience with additional BTP services.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
