Trade Surveillance BA

Matrix is looking for a forward-thinking organization committed to driving innovation and operational excellence. We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and process flows.
• Conduct gap analyses and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support project planning, execution, and delivery by providing analytical insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor performance.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Work closely with IT, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of solutions.
• Day to day involvement with the development team to review and understand the FSD, write BRD and Testing documents.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• Trade or Capital Markets Broker/Dealer Surveillance solutions implementation or development experience in a cohesive environment comprising and experience required on:
• Oracle or MS-SQL Database
• Actimize AIS, RCM, and Trade Surveillance solutions experience
• SMARTS Trade Surveillance solutions experience
• Actimize ERCM for alerts ingestion and integration development experience
• Sales Practices Modles for Trade Surveillance
• Domain knowledge of Trade Surveillance and in general compliance knowledge
• Hands on experience on writing exceptional and complex SQL queries and procedures
• Hands on experience on using tools like JIRA, HP QC ALM etc.
• Ability and experience of working in Scrum agile methodology
• Experience to work with the teams on global presence
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Should be able to work independently to result high quality deliverables, covering both functional and non functional requirements
• Work with internal teams and client resources to be able to assist in release migrations
• General Characteristics of Success:
• Possess the necessary skillset to quickly learn new technologies and the analytical skills required to drive critical issues to resolution within our team and/or in collaboration with external teams.

• Desires to work in a dynamic technical application environment to provide excellent testing results
• Good ability to convey technical information to an audience with various levels of technical knowledge, including a business user base that may lack a deep understanding of application technology.
