Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Sustainable Materials Research Intern with a focus on biodegradable materials to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in laboratory research procedures related to biodegradable polymers and other environmentally friendly materials. Under the guidance of experienced scientists and technicians, the intern will assist in conducting tests, analyzing data, and preparing reports specifically tailored to biodegradable materials. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for this role, as the intern will contribute to documentation and reporting tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Assist in conducting laboratory tests specifically tailored to biodegradable polymers and other materials.

2.    Prepare samples for testing according to procedures and protocols.

3.    Learn to operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation under supervision, particularly on equipment relevant to biodegradable material testing.

4.    Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive reports.

5.    Maintain accurate records of testing activities, including data collection and documentation.

6.    Communicate effectively with team members to share findings, insights, and progress.

7.    Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues and optimize testing processes, focusing on unique challenges.


Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (Preferably freshers)

2.    Strong interest in laboratory testing and research, with a specific focus on biodegradable materials.

3.    Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and procedures, with an eagerness to learn more about techniques relevant to biodegradable material testing.

4.    Willingness to assist in operating laboratory equipment and instrumentation.

5.    Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in assessing the environmental impact of materials.

6.    Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in tasks.

7.    Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate findings and insights.

8.    Proficiency in computer skills, including a solid understanding of MS Office.

9.    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a willingness to contribute to team efforts.
