Your role
As a seasoned java developer you will work together with business users and members of the development team to provide quality systems that improve productivity, decrease operational risk, enable the business to expand and make users smile. These are high profile applications that offer you the opportunity to craft the future technical direction and take ownership for functionalponents.
We are looking for someone who can:
• implement and deliver high quality software solutions /ponents for the Credit Risk Monitoring platform.
• analyze business requirements, design implementable technical solutions that leverage process and development best practice
• demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs.
• leverage his/her expertise to mentor and lead developers; review code/designs and ensure adherence to standards.
• play a key role in platform modernization while continuously improving the existing systems.
Your team
You'll be working in of the Credit Risk EoD Monitoring Crew in Pune, India . Part of the larger Group Technology organization at UBS, delivering quality, innovative solutions that support our Group Functions business partners in achieving their operational goals. Your expertise
• Experience of 12+ years working in Backend Development and Microservices using Java Spring Boot, J2EE, REST for implementing projects with high SLA of data availability and data quality. In-depth experience in high volume and high performance, scalable application design experience with Java/J2EE is essential.
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle) and UNIX
• Knowledge of Frontend development using React JS
• Experience of building cloud ready and migrating applications using Azure and understanding of the Azure Native Cloud services, software design and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience using DevOps toolsets like GitLab, Jenkins, TDD/BDD tools like PyTest , Cucumber.
• Hands-on experience working with build tools like Maven/Gradle.
• Experience of working on Kubernetes / OpenShift, Containerization (Docker, Podman or Similar), Cloud Native technologies and frameworks ( Spring Boot).
• Testing unit, System Integration, UAT, Performance improvements
