What we are looking for

Required Technical Skill set:

L2 skillset in IT Infrastructure Unix administration


Must Have:

  • In-depth knowledge of Unix, Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu.
  • Knowledge of Unix and Linux based application server.
  • Proactively maintain and develop all Unix/Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service.
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning.
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge on Linux, ESXi, Aix, HP-UX.
  • Working knowledge of NIS, NIS, LDAP, NFS, SAN and DNS protocols.
  • Knowledge of Unix security and authorization functionality, Complex Tasks.
  • Troubleshoot complex problems for maintaining high available environments.
  • Experience with Linux (Red Hat, Suse) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with VMWare and SAN management and concepts.
  • Hands-on experience on Troubleshoot Unix/Linux server incidents towards resolution.
  • Strong Communication, Coordination & Customer interaction skills.
  • Very good understanding of ITIL concepts, Incident management lifecycle and adherence to SLAs.
  • Willing to work extended hours and in rotational Shift model.
  • Self-learner, Initiative/Proactiveness (Problem Solving skills).
