Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced IO Layout Engineer with strong expertise in custom layout design and verification. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with advanced technology nodes (28nm and below), deep knowledge of IO design methodologies, and proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform IO and custom layout design with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Execute DRC, LVS, and ERC verification using tools such as Calibre and Assura.
  • Work on ESD protection circuits and ensure robust design implementation.
  • Collaborate with circuit design and verification teams to deliver high-quality layouts.
  • Support projects at advanced process nodes (28nm and below) with best practices.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Skill/Tcl/Perl/Python) to improve layout productivity (optional but preferred).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of hands-on experience in IO / custom layout design.
  • Strong working knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Solid expertise in DRC/LVS/ERC verification flows using Calibre/Assura.
  • Good understanding of device physics, IO circuits, and ESD protection techniques.
  • Prior exposure to deep sub-micron technologies (28nm and below).
  • Scripting skills (Skill, Tcl, Perl, Python) are a plus.
