About The Role
We are looking for an experienced ETL QA (Automation) professional to join the Fidelity account under IBM GCC. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in database testing, PL/SQL, Snowflake, and Python, with good knowledge of data warehouse concepts and testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform database and ETL testing to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, aggregate, and arithmetic functions.
  • Validate and test ETL processes, DWH concepts, and workflows.
  • Utilize Snowflake for data testing and validation.
  • Leverage Python programming for data analysis, test automation, and scripting.
  • Draft comprehensive test strategies for complex business requirements.
  • Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) where required.
  • Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to testing lifecycle processes and timely delivery.

Must-Have Skills

  • 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Database/ETL testing.
  • Expertise in PL/SQL (stored procedures, complex queries, arithmetic/aggregate functions).
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in Python programming for testing and automation.
  • Good understanding of DWH concepts and experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica).
  • Strong knowledge of STLC and proven experience in testing deliveries.
  • Exposure to API testing (REST, SOAP).

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI).
  • Experience with SnapLogic / AWS.
  • Job scheduling experience with tools like Control-M, NiFi.
  • Finance domain knowledge.
  • Experience in automation testing framework
