Overview The Head ofProduction (Mechanical) plays a crucial role in overseeing theproduction operations within the organization. This role involvesproviding strategic direction ensuring efficient and costeffectiveproduction and maintaining high levels of quality and safetystandards.KeyResponsibilities
  • Lead and supervisethe production team to achieve production targets andobjectives
  • Develop and implement productionplans and schedules
  • Monitor and optimizeproduction processes to ensure efficiency andquality
  • Oversee equipment maintenance andrepair activities
  • Manage production budgets andexpenses
  • Ensure compliance with health andsafety regulations
  • Implement quality controlmeasures to meet productspecifications
  • Identify and resolve productionissues and bottlenecks
  • Conduct regularperformance evaluations of productionstaff
  • Collaborate with other departments tocoordinate production and distributionactivities
  • Stay updated with industry trendsand technological advancements
  • Participate instrategic planning and goalsetting for the productiondepartment
  • Develop and implement continuousimprovement initiatives
  • Provide leadership andmentorship to production staff
  • Manage andresolve any conflicts or disciplinary issues within the productionteam
RequiredQualifications
  • Bachelors degree inMechanical Engineering or a relatedfield
  • Proven experience in a senior productionmanagement role
  • Demonstrated expertise inmechanical engineering and manufacturingprocesses
  • Strong understanding of productionplanning and scheduling
  • Excellent knowledge ofquality control and assuranceprocesses
  • Proficiency in using productionmanagement software and tools
  • Outstandingleadership communication and interpersonalskills
  • Ability to make strategic decisions andprioritize effectively
  • Indepth understanding ofhealth and safety regulations in a manufacturingenvironment
