Job Description:We are looking for a talented and driven PCB Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PCB design, circuit design, and full hardware development. You will be responsible for taking projects from the concept phase through to production, ensuring that all aspects of the design meet performance and manufacturing requirements.A strong background in power electronics, particularly in designing DC-DC converters (e.g., buck, boost, and buck-boost converters), is essential. Additionally, the ability to design PCB layouts for differential signals (e.g., CAN, USB, HDMI) is a critical requirement. You should also be adept at component selection and ensuring optimal performance of circuits.While experience with BLDC motor drivers is not a priority, the role demands proficiency in handling all aspects of hardware development, from initial design to final testing and production.Key Responsibilities:Circuit Design & PCB Layout:

Design and develop circuit schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer, focusing on both analog and digital circuits, including

differential signals

such as CAN, USB, and HDMI.Power Electronics:

Design and implement power electronics circuits, including DC-DC converters (buck, boost, buck-boost).Component Selection:

Select appropriate components to ensure the optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of the design.Full Hardware Development:

Take full ownership of the hardware development process, from initial concept through to final production, including prototyping, testing, and validation.Design for Manufacturing (DFM):

Ensure that PCB designs are manufacturable and optimized for production, taking into account layout constraints, signal integrity, and power integrity.Signal & Power Integrity (PI/SI):

Perform necessary analysis to ensure the proper functioning of differential signal circuits and power distribution networks.Library Management:

Create and maintain component libraries, footprints, and 3D models within Altium Designer.Prototyping & Assembly:

Assemble PCBs as needed, ensuring that prototypes are built according to specifications and tested thoroughly.Testing & Validation:

Utilize digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment to validate and troubleshoot PCB designs, ensuring they meet all functional requirements.BOM & Documentation:

Generate and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) and provide detailed documentation for all designs to ensure smooth transition to production.LTSpice Simulation (Preferred):

Use LTSpice for circuit simulation and validation where applicable.Soldering Skills:

Perform high-quality soldering of components, including both SMD and through-hole, as part of the prototyping and assembly process.Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and firmware developers, to ensure seamless integration of electronics into larger systems.

Required Skills:Proficiency in

Altium Designer

for schematic capture, PCB layout, and library management.Knowledge on EMI/EMC Compliant PCB DesignsExperience in

circuit design

and PCB layout, with a strong focus on

power electronics

(DC-DC converters) and

differential signal design

(e.g., CAN, USB, HDMI).Strong ability in

to meet design and performance specifications.Expertise in

Signal Integrity (SI)

and

Power Integrity (PI)

analysis, especially in differential signal circuits.Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

expertise.Familiarity with

testing tools

like digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.Good

soldering skills

and the ability to assemble PCBs.LTSpice

simulation experience is highly preferred.Ability to take full responsibility for

hardware development

from concept to production.Excellent problem-solving skills and a

go-getter attitude .

Preferred Skills:Interest in

robotics-based electronics

and hands-on prototyping.

Education:Master’s / bachelor's degree in
