Job Title: Lead Mobile Software Development Consultant (React Native)



Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Mobile Software Development Consultant  to drive the development of high-quality iOS and Android applications using React Native. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, extensive experience with React Native, and proven leadership skills to guide a development team in delivering robust and scalable mobile solutions. 


Key Responsibilities: 


·       Lead Mobile Development Projects : Oversee the development lifecycle of iOS and Android applications, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. 

·       Technical Expertise : Leverage deep expertise in React Native and associated technologies to architect, design, and implement innovative mobile solutions. 

·        Mentorship and Leadership : Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. 

·       Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and cohesive project development. 

·       Code Reviews and Quality Assurance : Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in code quality, version control, and testing procedures. 

·       Performance Optimization : Optimize app performance to enhance user experience and meet the demands of high-traffic usage. 

·       Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions to overcome development challenges. 

·       Stay Up-to-date : Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in mobile development, particularly in React Native and mobile app frameworks. 

·       Documentation : Maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and best practices. Qualifications:

·       Experience : Minimum of 10 years in mobile software development, with at least 7 years in developing iOS and Android applications using React Native. 

·       Technical Skills : 

o    Proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript. 

o   Experience with third-party libraries and APIs. 

o    Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices. 

·       Leadership Skills : Proven experience in leading development teams and managing project deliverables. 

·       Soft Skills : 

o   Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 

o   Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and 

non-technical stakeholders. 

o   Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 


 Tools & Technologies : 


Familiarity with mobile development tools and CI/CD processes (e.g., Git, Jenkins, 

Bitrise). 

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.


 Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 

(or equivalent practical experience). 


Preferred Qualifications: 


·      Certifications : Relevant certifications in React Native or mobile app development. 

·      Portfolio : Demonstrated portfolio of published mobile applications. 

·      Experience with Modern Practices : Familiarity with modern state management libraries 

like Redux or MobX, and experience in integrating mobile applications with cloud services and APIs.
