Through partnerships with various companies, MyShubhLife fulfils the capital needs of several million MSME’s.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Legal and Compliance at MyShubhLife in Bengaluru. The role involves tasks such as vendor agreement reviews, legal consulting, legal compliance, and managing compliance and legal affairs within the organization.Secretarial Compliance's with respect to the Companies Act, 2013 and as per other regulator's directivesMaintenance of all statutory registers and filings with regulatorsCorporate Governance & Disclosures related compliance and implementing best practices within the organization in consultation with the managementUnderstands various lending business models, operations of NBFCs, Lending Service Providers, and upkeeps withlatest RBI regulations with respect to lendingContract Management:Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documentsEnsure that contracts comply with legal requirements, internal policies, and best practiceStay updated on NBFC industry regulations and assist in ensuring compliance to various laws and regulations as applicable to the companyAssistance in filing, registering any document including forms, returns and applications by and on behalf of the company with various regulators like RBI/MCATo update on the latest amendments in Companies Act, RBI and other rules and regulations applicableRisk Management- Identify legal risks and vulnerabilities in the organization's operations, contracts, and policiesAssist in developing risk mitigation strategies and implementing measures to minimize legal exposureQualificationsQualified Company Secretary, preferably with LLBA total of 3-5 years' experience with Microfinance / NBFCKeep himself / herself abreast with regulatory changes (latest judgements & proposed changes in the Lawand its impact on the functioning of the company).Ability to handle multiple tasks, excellent communication skills both oral and written.
