We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and providing valuable feedback to our development team. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality applications that meet customer needs and business goals..

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Perform manual and automated testing across multiple platforms (web, mobile, API, etc.).
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using issue-tracking tools.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regression, integration, system, and performance testing as needed.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and review technical documentation to ensure accurate understanding of project objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Provide clear and actionable feedback to improve product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 2-5 year of experience in quality assurance and software testing.

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).

Hands-on experience with manual testing

Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar is a plus.

Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

Proficiency in issue tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
