Description Manager is responsible for reliability of applications spanning Corporate, Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain and Quality Platforms and Technologies: SaaS Applications, Veeva Vault, PromoMats, Snowflake, AWS, Java, Hadoop, Azure, Teradata technologies, Python, Flume, Spark, Hive, Informatica, Talend, Sqoop, R, Tableau, Qlik, Python. Key Responsibilities * Enhance the reliability of the applications adopting an SRE mindset and engineering approaches. * Work directly with customers/developers/architects/product owners to help automate customer issues and drive solutions to build stronger more reliable application products. * Support and improve our end-to-end application products supporting design, deployment, operation, observability, and continuous improvement. * Validate pre-production before products go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and Production Readiness reviews. * Create, fix, extend and scale the code to keep it up and running and improve through mechanisms such as automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve availability, security and reliability. * Support the execution of product delivery with high quality, implementing automation where applicable * Interface with external service providers to deliver reliability services What we are looking for Required Qualifications * BA/BS required and degree in STEM field preferred * 4 years managing enterprise IT services, technical products, or projects * 7 years of total IT experience * Experience managing Cloud based infrastructure. * Experience working with in one or multiple technologies (AWS, Hadoop, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Python, Flume, Spark, Hive, Informatica, Talend, Sqoop, R, Tableau, Qlik, Python) * Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design. * Must be independent and flexible, with solid communication skills and strong customer focus. * Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role * Recommend and encourage appropriate design decisions * Firm understanding of Scrum, Agile software development concepts * Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks. * Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
