Oracle EPBCS Functional Consultant- JD

Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, combined with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EPBCS solutions. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver best practices using Oracle EPBCS functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design and Implementation:• Analyze business requirements and design Oracle EPBCS solutions to support financial planning and budgeting processes.•

Configure EPBCS modules, including Workforce Planning, Financials, Capital, Projects, and Strategic Modeling.• Develop and optimize data models, forms, business rules, and calculation scripts.2. Stakeholder Collaboration:• Work closely with finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure seamless integration of Oracle EPBCS with other systems.• Conduct workshops to gather and document requirements, design solutions, and validate outcomes with stakeholders.3. System Support and Enhancements:• Provide post-implementation support, resolve user issues, and optimize system performance.• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements to maximize EPBCS capabilities.4. Data Management and Reporting:• Ensure accurate data integration between Oracle EPBCS and other systems such as ERP or data warehouses.• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and analytics using Smart View, FR Studio, or other reporting tools.5. Training and Documentation:• Develop user training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including system configurations, process flows, and user guides.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:• 3+ years of experience with Oracle EPBCS or PBCS implementation and support.• Proficiency in designing and configuring EPBCS modules, including form creation, business rules, and workflows.• Strong knowledge of EPM Automate, Smart View, and related tools.• Experience with integration tools like FDMEE/Data Management and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud ERP).• Functional Knowledge:• In-depth understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.• Familiarity with accounting principles, financial statements, and corporate finance concepts.• Soft Skills:• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders and end-users.• Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business requirements.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle EPM certification (EPBCS or PBCS).• Experience with strategic financial modeling or predictive analytics.• Background in handling multi-currency, multi-entity planning processes.• Exposure to Agile project management methodologies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.• Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPA, CFA) is a plus.

with minimum 2 years of relevant experience post Qualification IT- Experience.• B.Sc/BCA

Graduates with minimum 2.5 years of relevant experience post qualification IT Experience.•Only Full Time courses would be considered.
