Title: WordPress DeveloperLocation: On-site in PuneExperience: 3+ yearsShift: Monday to Friday, 4 pm to 1 AMKey Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites.- Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet project requirements.- Ensure website responsiveness and optimal performance.- Integrate and configure WordPress plugins as needed.- Develop custom WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality.- Manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.- Ensure content is SEO-friendly and optimized for search engines.- Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats.- Optimize website performance, including speed and load times.- Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs.- Perform regular website backups and updates.- Work closely with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure seamless website development and functionality.- Provide technical support and guidance to non-technical team members.About you- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio of WordPress projects.- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.- Knowledge of web development best practices, including SEO and web accessibility.- Familiarity with responsive web design principles.- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.- Up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in web development and WordPress.Education- A bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field is preferred but not always required.- Relevant work experience and a strong portfolio are often considered more important.
