Job Title: Performance Test Engineer(JMeter) Location: Remote About the Role We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JMeter and an overall performance testing experience of 6+ years , including 3+ years of dedicated JMeter work . The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure the stability, scalability, and reliability of our applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter Analyze performance test results and identify system bottlenecks, failures, and areas for optimization Develop performance test strategies, plans, and workload models based on business requirements Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues Monitor system performance metrics across load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing Prepare detailed performance reports and provide recommendations Work within Agile/Scrum teams to ensure smooth test delivery Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of experience in performance testing 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache JMeter Strong understanding of performance engineering concepts (load, stress, endurance, scalability) Expertise in test scripting, parameterization, correlation, and distributed execution Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, New Relic, Dynatrace, or similar) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with Jenkins or similar tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good understanding of web technologies, APIs, and system architecture
