About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and driven QA Automation Engineer with Cypress (5 + Years Experience) to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge web applications built with React JS while using modern test automation frameworks like Cypress.

The role will also involve working with SQL for database testing, and as part of our cloud migration project, you will gain hands-on experience with Databricks and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation with Cypress:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of web applications built in React JS.


Web Application Testing (React JS):

Collaborate with developers to test and validate React JS-based front-end functionality, ensuring all user interactions and UI components perform as expected.


SQL Database Testing:

Perform backend testing on SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and consistency. Write and execute SQL queries to validate results, verify data migrations, and check database transactions.


Cloud Migration Testing (Databricks and Snowflake):

As the company migrates to Databricks and Snowflake, you will develop test cases, create automation scripts, and validate that the migration process is smooth and that data is properly transferred.


Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast feedback and early bug detection in the development lifecycle.


Collaboration & Reporting:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, and business analysts) to identify test scenarios, communicate test results, and ensure issues are addressed before release.


Performance & Load Testing:

Work with the team to identify and automate performance tests to validate that the applications perform well under load, both at the UI and backend (SQL/Databricks/Snowflake).


Test Documentation:

Create and maintain clear and detailed test cases, test plans, and reports. Provide timely feedback on defects, issues, and performance concerns.
