Job Summary
As a
Senior SDET
, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality within the Product Delivery Team by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts. You will validate user stories, report defects, review code changes, and contribute to building scalable test automation frameworks. This role requires a strong technical background, ownership mindset, and the ability to guide/mentor other SDETs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with automation testing tools (TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript for test development.
  • Experience in test case design, test scenario creation, and formal testing processes (manual + automation).
  • Solid understanding of API testing and experience working with scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with services, web technologies, and n-tier browser-based applications.
  • Strong experience with GitLab and CI/CD integration.
  • Knowledge of formal defect management processes and ability to log/review defects effectively.
  • Experience in native mobile app automation (iOS/Android) using frameworks like Appium, XCUITest, Espresso.
  • Solid understanding of full SDLC and QA's role within agile delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with global teams.
  • A proactive learner with a passion for applying new technologies in test automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently design, develop, and execute automation test scripts.
  • Validate user stories and acceptance criteria against business requirements.
  • Create and maintain bug tickets with detailed issue descriptions.
  • Review merge requests and contribute to code quality discussions.
  • Actively participate in sprint grooming, planning, and kick-off meetings, providing test estimates and raising quality considerations.
  • Develop a strong understanding of system architecture, design, and business logic to support effective testing.
  • Monitor and mentor other SDETs in best practices for test automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including enhancing QA processes and tools.
