The Phlebotomy department provides a venepuncture service on behalf of all services within the Acute division of Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
The phlebotomy service is part of the south sector.
You will be responsible for the delivery of phlebotomy service to wards within the Acute division in Gartnavel General Hospital, thus ensuring target times are met and adhered to for the delivery of blood specimens to the laboratories.
You should have a good standard of education, good communication skills and good time management skills.
The hours of this post will be between 7am - 12am Monday to Friday.
Weekend working is not expected for this post, but but contract will be over 5/7 days to allow flexibility if service requires.
