Key Responsibilities Responsibilities • To report the embedded value (EV) and value of new business (VNB) and do a detailed analysis of their movement •To analyze deviations between the actual numbers and planned business numbers • To report experience analysis of persistency, mortality, expense, revival etc. • To set assumptions using experience analysis for various purposes •To report risk based capital calculation to the JV partner •To report the reserves based on Ind-AS reporting • To perform sensitivity and scenario testing on EV and VNB. • To create IRDAI reports and prepare response to the queries related to above work Specific Authorities( Financial & Non Financial) Not Applicable Key Performance Indicators TAT Compliance = % % Accuracy (0 errors) Job Requirements Qualifications Graduate who has completed more than 8 papers Experience At least 5 years’ experience in Life Insurance industry preferably in Shareholder Reporting Functional Competencies ·Risk Assessment ·Actuarial Technical Expertise ·Modelling Tools ·Regulatory Knowledge Behavioral Competencies ·Business Acumen ·Growth through Differentiation Definition ·Collaboration ·Customer centricity Key Interactions Internal Nature or purpose of interaction Corporate planning Reporting of EV/VNB/experience analysis for MIS Finance team Entries in Financials, Ind-AS reporting, Reconciliation of numbers Tokio marine (JV) Submission of EV/VNB reporting, RBC and response to any query raised Investment team Inputs for EV/RBC, Reconciliation of numbers CEO’s Office Board requirements Actuarial – valuation Data and DCS related Actuarial – Pricing Products and pricing model related queries/discussion External Nature or purpose of interaction Peers in other organizations Discussion on industry practice Documented By Lead - SH Reporting Approved By Head - Advisory, Risk Assessment & Reporting HR certification By HR - BP Primary Responsibilities: To report the embedded value (EV) and value of new business (VNB) and do a detailed analysis of their movement
