  • Develop Basic Engineering Design, Front End Engineering, and Detailed Engineering Design Documents as per the project requirements.
  • Prepare Process documents such as Design Basis, Control and Shutdown Philosophy, Operation Manual
  • Strong Hands-on experience with SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID) at user level and Admin level
  • Experience with Aspen software added advantage
  • Prepare and / or verify engineering calculations such as line sizing, equipment / instrument sizing, process datasheet, line list, Hazardous Substances Release Schedule, Relief / Vent Load Estimation, utility requirements, Flare Radiation, Gas Dispersion, Thermal Rating, Surge Analysis etc.
  • Prepare and / or verify process drawings such as P&IDs, PFDs, UFDs, C&E Drawings etc.
  • Participate in safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, EERA, ESSA, SIL etc.
  • Conversant with various standards such as API, ANSI, Shell DEPs, TOTAL GS
  • Attend Factory and Site Acceptance Test as required
  • Manage the discipline work, resource identification and allocation, lead the discipline team, support the project team during execution
  • Manage interdisciplinary activities
  • Manage cost and schedule, monitor progress, prepare mitigation plans as required.
  • Experienced in engineering software such as Hysys, PROII, SP P&ID, OLGA, PipeNet etc.
  • Should be conversant with latest material codes and standards applicable in plant and layout design.
  • Strong combination of technical and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Good teamwork skills.


Required Skills-

  • Education- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience- Min.10years overall experience (min.5years in SPPID at user and admin level)
  • Experience with Aspen Software will be an added advantage
  • Salary- 8L- 10L per Annum.
