What are we looking for?

  • Monitor the Oracle Alert logs files, transaction logs and backup log
  • Day to day activities like tablespace, backup, cronjob, OEM alert
  • Patching oracle database
  • Monitor the database related activities, respond calls from the Application support and developments teams
  • Monitor the backups, recovery errors, respond to the request regarding the rman
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
  • Experience with Datagaurd, cloning, rman backups
  • Experience with RAC database and its component and ASM concepts
  • Experience with Shell scripting
  • Candidate will have to work in 8 AM to 5 PM ET.
  • He will be responsible for on-call support during US Daytime hours
  • Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
  • Experience with Datagaurd, cloning, rman backups
  • Experience with RAC database and its component and ASM concepts
  • Good troubleshooting skills to support business critical applications in Production - Mandatory
  • Good Communication skills – Mandatory
  • Flexible to work in shifts - Mandatory
  • Work Experience on incidents/Changes/requests/tasks on Service Now
  • ITIL Knowledge / Certification
