Job Objective


Academic Head brings in great value to the institution by developing the overall activities in the Academic and service operations directly related to the growth of the learning and development amongst students


1. Key Functions: Operations management, Process designing, Faculty management, Syllabus and Curriculum management, Exam management, Student Retention, Student Result Management, Loyalty Management, Seminar and Counseling session conduction, Stakeholder relationship Management, Student Relationship Management, Event Management, Impact measurement, Quality Management, Operations Management, Lecture delivery management, Passing Percentage Management


2. Key Qualities Required: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and listening skills, strong analytical skills, Strong understanding of subject Matter, People Management, warm and easy to go personality, MIS skills, Reporting skills, and counseling skills.


3. Key Areas of Output: Increase in overall batch passing percentage in each subject, growth in learning value in the each program, Increase in the student retention value.


Student Managemen t


1. Motivating, guiding and encouraging students to excel in their academic effort


2. Assessing impact measurement output of learning in each student and preparing reports to share it with the board


3. Introducing additional programs to address 360-degree development


4. Delivering motivational and insight driven session on leadership, study examinations, attitude development and similar to shape student’s approach towards their learning

5. Developing social media presence to market the success of students and learning outputs


6. Maintain an open door policy for students in need of emotional or academic counsel


7. Provide students with support, counsel, friendship, reinforcement, and constructive examples to exercise control and drive higher degree of academic and transformative results


8. Maintain regular communication with students; address student questions or concerns related to academic and service challenges


9. Plan and execute events to drive a sense of brand association and loyalty amongst students, parents and stakeholders


10. Design and implement corporate workshops for students to ensure development in their competencies


11. Encourage the students to excel in their academic outputs in order to qualify for scholarship opportunities


12. Conduct Student Review Sessions on periodical intervals along with Parents to address student performance and progress on timely intervals


13. Developing an atmosphere and culture of high standards of learning value amongst each student by conducting class or individual mentorship sessions


14. Developing a culture of discipline and a sense of sincerity amongst students of all batches


15. Conducting career awareness sessions and counseling’s amongst the prospective batches of students to create interest towards the institution’s program offerings and learning value


Operations Management


1. Design and implement SOP, guidelines to assess effectiveness and efficiency of the learning output in each subject


2. Guide faculties on timely intervals on academic SOPs and lecture delivery methodologies


3. Manage and resolve academic challenges in timetable, syllabus completion, exam results, study resource bank, tests, assignments, lecture delivery quality and similar on regular intervals


4. Ensure faculty in each subject is complaint with the lecture delivery expectations / standards as set by the management


5. Evaluating the result score board and creating constructive plans to increase the passing percentage in each subject


6. Develop stakeholder relationship management with Institutional partnerships to address developments and progress in program compliance.


Academic Development


1. Delivery sessions in the academic area of excellence or as per subject expertise


2. Observing session plans and identifying faculty’s’ strengths and weaknesses.


3. Providing feedback, advice, and individual/group training sessions for faculties.


4. Organizing workshops, training sessions, and events where guest speakers inspire teachers.


5. Collaborating with faculties and other staff to develop improved curriculum, lesson plans, assessments, and classroom management techniques.


6. Setting weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly goals for faculties as well as students, and providing advice and guidance to ensure these goals are met.


7. Conducting student review meeting in classrooms to check progress once faculties have completed their training.


8. Supervising classroom activities, taking notes, and writing up reports to share with management.


9. Developing new strategies and plans for an improved learning experience.


10. Planning the strategies to achieve higher passing percentage and get Platinum ALP


11. Building faculty networks and encouraging faculties to share their resources and knowledge.


12. Using the ACCA resources to train the faculties on respective subjects


13. Conducting competitors’ analysis to improve the teaching techniques or services provided


14. Plan & strategize content management for LMS to maximize the use of technology and increase student satisfactio
