Project description- We are seeking a seasoned Lead Python Developer with approximately 10 years of experience to architect, design, and lead the development of robust web applications and RESTful APIs. This role is both hands-on and strategic, requiring deep technical expertise in Python development as well as leadership capabilities to mentor a team and drive delivery excellence.

You will play a pivotal role in defining the technology stack, coding standards, DevOps practices, and ensuring the scalability and maintainability of our backend systems. Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and end-to-end development of complex web applications and RESTful APIs using Python.
- Guide and mentor a team of Python developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, peer learning, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to uphold high standards in code quality, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and define project timelines.
- Evaluate and implement appropriate frameworks and design patterns (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI) based on project needs.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve system reliability and response time.
- Own and manage the DevOps pipeline, including CI/CD workflows, deployment strategies, and environment configuration.
- Ensure all deliverables follow secure coding practices, meet regulatory compliance standards, and are well-documented.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve development workflows and architecture. Skills

- 10+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Python.
- Proven track record in leading development teams and delivering production-grade web applications and APIs.
- Expertise in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Solid experience designing and working with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and deploying scalable cloud-native applications.
- Proficiency in code security, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting in complex distributed systems.
- Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORM tools.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
