What can you expect:This is a strategic role for a highly driven and highly achieving individual who possess excellent capabilities in leading process automations and transitions especially for mid to large size analytical teams.You will be a member of GC Global Analytics & Advisory (GAA) team in Mumbai leading & driving our process modernization initiatives and designing & delivering training programs. GC is on a journey to upgrade all its legacy processes and migrate them to more automated & scalable processes catering to the re/insurance clients futuristic needs.Our global footprint spans across Treaty & Facultative portfolios along with capital market solutions for multiple lines of business & perils, spreading across multiple geographies and serving global re/insurance markets which would provide exposure to varied kind of challenges.In this role, you would be expected to own the transformation of all the processes within GAA India office along with providing the required expertise to enable this so that the team is aligned and able to adopt this transition seamlessly.You would be subjected to gain an understanding of re/insurance markets & clients, their challenges and priorities which would be essential for you to be successful in this role.

We will count on you to:Responsible for implementing standardized & consistent cat modelling processes across various regional teams.Improve efficiency of work by reinforcing standardized processes though continuous automation and minimizing the manual work. Ensure all processes are scalable for future growth.Derive the maximum adoption of automation tools, processes and software for all teams resulting into improved and seamless processes whilst de-listing former tools and other legacy processes.Good communication skills for liaison and regular interactions with onshore GC stakeholders and teams responsible for driving global standards and processes.Establish a process for escalating technical queries, peer review of outputs and be final backstop for questions on models running. Co-ordinate any escalations to onshore offices or via modelling ‘helplines’.Change management – liaise with models’ vendors relationship management teams globally to stay updated on recent products/models changes and arranging required trainings for the team.Aligning local teams with developments on GC in-house model development initiatives; working on training modules for the released models.Ownership of the training program for new hires including experienced analysts and fresh graduates; leverage onshore training materials for finalizing the training materials applicable for GAA India team.Soft skills trainings – working with learning & development team, plan for soft skills trainings for all colleagues i.e. for each job grade in line with role requirement & experience.Implementation of global GC GAA professional standards across all teams viz. Catastrophe Modelling Delivery, Global Model Solutions & Advisory and Business Intelligence teams.

What you need to have:

15+ years of experience in working on and managing process transformations & trainings for large analytical teams with significant experience in managing catastrophe modelling processes especially in re/insurance.Experience in process automation, catastrophe modelling & analytical process transformations especially for global re/insurance clients.Leading expertise on the operation of key vendor models (Moody’s RMS, Verisk, RQE etc.) and their application for re/insurance clients’ needs.Excellent communication skills to own interactions with onshore leaders.Proven track record of managing change management exercise in any process; relevant experience in catastrophe modelling process would be an added advantage.Demonstrable experience in designing & implementation of training programs for large sized teams.
