Job Title: Veterinary Doctor – Cattle Livestock Insurance ClaimsLocation: AiroliEmployment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: ClaimsJob Summary: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Veterinary Consultant to support the claims verification/assessment for losses reported under Cattle Livestock Insurance . The role involves conducting field investigations, verifying cause of death or illness, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation to support insurance claim settlements.Eligibilty:- Degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a recognized institution.- Valid registration with the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council.- Minimum 0-5 years of field experience in livestock health and insurance-related work.- Strong knowledge of cattle diseases, treatment protocols, and rural veterinary practices.- Proficiency in report writing, documentation, and use of mobile apps or digital tools.- Ability to travel extensively to rural and semi-urban areas.Responsibilities/JD:- Conduct Desktop/on-site verification of insured cattle in case of illness, injury, or death.- Perform technical post-mortem examinations and issue veterinary reports for claim validation.- Certify the cause of death or disability in accordance with insurance policy terms.- Collaborate with insurance surveyors and field officers during claim investigations.- Ensure timely submission of veterinary reports, photographs, and supporting documents.- Maintain detailed records of inspections and findings for audit and compliance.- Educate livestock owners on disease prevention, vaccination, and animal care.- Support digital claim platforms by uploading reports and updating claim status.
