Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead our technical teams and oversee projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex website projects, including significant experience with WordPress, API development, server management, and databases. This role requires exceptional leadership qualities, including experience managing teams of 15 or more technical staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, execution, and closure of projects that meet or exceed customer expectations and are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee various technology projects, focusing primarily on WordPress sites, custom web applications, and API integrations.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless execution of projects.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation; develop detailed project plans to track progress.
  • Utilize appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using suitable systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, with a demonstrated history of leading large technical teams.
  • Strong technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, particularly WordPress.
  • Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, JIRA).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
