Job Description
Job Details:
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM Central Standard Time
  • Salary : Based on candidate experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineering Request Reviews : Evaluate engineering service requests to ensure sufficient information is provided for completion.
  • Tower Structure Analysis : Review and analyze tower structures and foundations for various configurations, including existing, proposed, and reserved tenant setups.
  • Mount and Rigging Plan Management : Review mount analyses, rigging plans, construction drawings, and inspection reports.
  • Site Visits : Conduct periodic site visits to verify the proper implementation of engineering designs.
  • Project Management : Initiate and manage low-complexity analysis projects using various methods and software.
  • Design Assistance : Assist in designing modifications for telecommunications infrastructure, including reinforcing, extensions, and foundations.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with design staff on the development of modification drawings.
  • Reporting : Generate accurate project status reports and required engineering documentation.
  • Quality Control : Ensure adherence to all applicable quality control procedures.
  • Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and industry standards.
  • Experience with additional structural analysis software.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.

Requirements Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in:
    • Communication tower design and analysis
    • Construction or field engineering of steel structures
    • Structural engineering
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Proficiency with Risa-3D.
  • Basic knowledge of structural analysis software and tower structures/design methods.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work with various levels of employees and build/maintain professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
