Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor mechanical works at site such as HVAC, piping, plumbing, firefighting, and fabrication.
• Interpret and execute project drawings, technical plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth site operations.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and assist in material planning, BOQ verification, and site documentation.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities including concreting, reinforcement, shuttering, finishing, and structural works.
• Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, codes, and project specifications.
• Manage labor teams, contractors, and resources to meet project schedules.
• Conduct site inspections, ensure quality control, and maintain safety compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and technical documents.
• Good problem-solving and site management skills.
• Basic knowledge of project planning and estimation.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to handle contractors, supervise manpower, and manage site challenges.
