Research Analyst

Summary of the Role

We are seeking a
Research Analyst
to support our book publishing projects. This role involves conducting research across diverse subjects to provide accurate, credible, and well-structured insights that will inform and enrich our publications. Success in this position means delivering trustworthy content that enhances the quality, authenticity, and value of our books. As part of the publishing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every project is backed by reliable research and up-to-date information.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of topics to support book concepts, manuscripts, and editorial needs
  • Verify the credibility, authenticity, and accuracy of all information and sources used in publications
  • Utilize modern research tools, databases, and fact-checking techniques to gather insights efficiently
  • Summarize findings into well-organized research reports for editors, authors, and publishing teams
  • Collaborate closely with writers, editors, and project managers to align research with creative and editorial direction
  • Stay informed on the latest research trends, tools, and publishing-related resources

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency with digital research tools, academic databases, and source verification methods
  • Demonstrated experience researching across varied domains (humanities, sciences, current affairs, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Research, Literature, Social Sciences, Journalism, or a related field
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality, reliable outputs
  • Prior experience in publishing, editorial research, or content development is highly desirable
